AIBC Euroclusters: calls for AI and blockchain solutions for SMEs

AIBC Euroclusters is a project co-funded by the European Union through the Single Market Program (SMP) and is coordinated by the Piemonte Innova Foundation The project aims to promote the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain (BC) solutions for a whole range of industrial ecosystems to support SMEs engaging in such areas and underpin their digital and green transition processes.

THE CALLS

AIBC Eurocluster has launched four calls to support European SMEs in their internationalisation, digitisation, resilience, energy transition and product/service development and innovation endeavours. More specifically, the Calls are focused on:

  • Training,
  • Digitalisation Services and Product Development,
  • Participation to international events,
  • Project proposals.
RECIPIENTS AND FUNDING

Projects for which funding is requested must be submitted by at least two SMEs founded before 31 December 2021 and having their registered office in a European Union country or in a country participating in the Single Market Programme. At least one of the SMEs must be a provider of AI and/or Blockchain-based technology solutions, while the other(s) must engage in in one of the four industrial ecosystems targeted by AIBC Eurocluster:

  • Manufacturing
  • Mobility
  • Energy

A total budget of € 520,000 has been allocated to the four Calls and each project can receive up to € 65,000. Recipients of grants may also participate in more than one AIBC Eurocluster Call, with the proviso that a single recipient may not receive more than € 60,000; in addition, only one application per Call is allowed. All projects must be completed by 15 September 2024.

DEADLINES AND INFORMATION

The deadline for participation in the Calls is set on 5 September 2023, 05:00 pm CET (Brussels time).

The “Digitalisation Services and Product Development” and “Project proposals” Calls also include an additional evaluation phase (cut-off) set for 16 January 2024.
