The second ADMA TranS4MErs<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Advanced Manufacturing assistance and training for SME Transformation) call has been launched. It aims to support\u00a0SMEs<\/b>\u00a0in the digital transformation<\/b>\u00a0journey and help them become\u00a0next-generation companies<\/b>. With the support of a network of\u00a0qualified\u00a0<\/b>SME consultants<\/b>, namely the\u00a0“Trans4MErs<\/b>, the initiative aims to turn 1,000 manufacturing SMEs<\/b>\u00a0into \u201cfactories of the future\u201d.<\/p>\n

The project, funded through Horizon 2020 <\/b>funds, is coordinated by Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR)\u00a0<\/b>and brings together\u00a038 partners<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a027 EU Member States<\/b>.<\/p>\n

ORIGINS OF ADMA TRANS4MERS<\/h5>\n

The\u00a0ADMA TranS4Mers\u00a0<\/b>builds on ADMA<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(European ADvanced MAnufacturing Support Center), an \u201cInterreg North Sea Region\u201d project launched in 2018 with the main goal of creating a sustainable and forward-looking European manufacturing industry. The ADMA project set out to help and train SMEs in advanced manufacturing and digitisation processes.<\/p>\n

During its three-year span, the project has supported\u00a0more than 100 SMEs in 12 European countries<\/b>\u00a0in adopting advanced production solutions and social innovation strategies to become\u00a0next-generation factories<\/b>\u00a0with more competitive, technologically advanced and sustainable productions.<\/p>\n

SECOND CALL RECIPIENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES<\/h5>\n

The Call offers\u00a0vouchers<\/b>\u00a0to EU SMEs engaging in\u00a0advanced manufacturing<\/b>\u00a0sectors to implement customised digital transformation plans. Italy can rely on 55 vouchers.<\/b><\/p>\n

Vouchers will be awarded on a first come first serve basis starting from\u00a07 June <\/b>2023, although it is already possible to register for selections. The path leading to the \u201cFactory of the Future\u201d comprises two distinct phases:<\/p>\n
